Talk about good vibes!

Not your typical juice bar, from the second you walk in to Joe & the Juice you're surrounded by loud, hip music and an upbeat atmosphere. Joe & the Juice finds its juicers/baristas through casting calls, and it only hires the most energetic, fun guys to serve its customers.

Founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, this Danish Coffee and Juice shop offers a large variety of fresh-squeezed-right-before-your-eyes juices (I got the Prince of Green, spinach, pineapple and apple...delicious) as well as specialty coffees, snacks and sandwiches. Its full menu is posted online - it offers nutrition information on every single item and is super helpful.

With four locations in both Midtown and Downtown (I went to the Bryant Park location, 1114 Avenue of the Americas) there are plenty of options for you to stop by for a quick, healthy pick-me-up and a smile!

Plus, their motto: "A juicer is not just a machine" is something all juice lovers can agree upon.

For as long as I can remember, living in New York City has been a dream of mine...and now it's my reality! As an Army Brat, I grew up exporing the world, but I've come to find there's just no place like the Big Apple.

New York City has an unmatched energy and excitment around every corner while its people are among the most hard working, inspiring and interesting people I've ever met.

Moving from a small, midwest town to the big city certainly has its challenges (especially for my small town husband who lived in the same one-stoplight town his whole life!) but every day we find more to love in this big, beautiful city on the East Coast.

New York is filled with surprises and, as a newcomer, I love nothing more than exploring and learning everything I can about this amazing place I now call "home."
